Youth For Christ is an interdenominational organization founded in 1944 by Torrey Johnson. Under the leadership of YFC's 11 national board of directors, Youth For Christ-Canada cooperates with churches and serves as a mission agency reaching out to young people and their families through a variety of ministries.
YFC seeks to have maximum influence in a world of youth through high-interest activities and personal involvement. Individual attention is given to each teenager through small group involvement and counseling. These activities and relationships become vehicles for communicating the message of the Gospel.
