Youth for Christ-USA

Founded in 1944, our mission is: YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

Youth for Christ is active in 180 areas across the U.S., representing over 2,000 different locations where young people are being reached. There are over 70,000 teens involved each week in U.S. programs. Over 1,500 staff, 15,800 volunteers, and 6,300 student leaders are involved in the U.S. YFC/USA is part of an international movement involving over 100 countries, with each country having their own indigenous leadership. Worldwide, over 125,000 young people began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ last year as part of various YFC ministries.

Youth for Christ's core ministries are:
Campus Life (high school) and Campus life (M) Middle School
City Life reaching inner-city teens
Teen Parents - ministry to expectant teens and their children
Juvenile Justice Ministries - ministry to teens in correctional facilities, group homes,
emergency shelters, etc.
