International Fellowship of Bible Churches, Inc

Founded August, 1988 from three groups of ministers and churches of conservative Wesleyan holiness tradition. Sponsor mission works in six countries on four continents. Locally autonomous congregations cooperate for missions, education, youth camps, religious gatherings, etc. Congregational goverment at Assembly level. International Assembly held biannually on even numbered years. Officers include General Superintendent and a 20-member Board comprised of 10 clergy and 10 non-clergy, elected by the International Assembly. The International Fellowship of Bible Churches, Incorporated is an association of autonomous congregations and parachurch ministries joined together by common persuasions, purposes and principles. International refers to our commitment to maintaining a consciousness of the global and universal nature of the Church of Jesus Christ, as well as our firm commitment to active service as part of that universal and international church. The Fellowship currently operates an international ministry in several locations across the globe. Fellowship refers to our commitment to the autonomy of the local congregation while maintaining the belief that we really do need each other. Bible refers to our commitment to the authority of Scripture as the final guide for all matters of faith and practice, both public and private. Churches refers to our belief that ministry occurs most efficiently and effectively at the local church level, not at the denominational or organizational level.
